Biography – Dr Samuel Osuji, President SAGRE Foundation

Dr Osuji Samuel Chibueze is an Optometrist, Public Health expert, Lecturer, Researcher, and Pastor. With over 15 years of team leadership experience in Health Care and community Aids services in parts of Sub-Saharan Africa, Sam is the Pastor of New Life Christian Centre, Owerri. He is also the Founder/ President of Sagre Foundation Inc. (www.sagrefoundation.org.ng), a non-profit focused on Healthcare missions, Community Development, and Leadership/Governance initiatives. The platform through which he also hosts Global Leadership and Development Series (GLADS), which is an international Public Lecture on Excellent Leadership. He is an alumnus of Abia State University, Uturu, West African Theological Seminary, Lagos Nigeria, Belhaven University, Jackson, MS, USA, where he earned Masters in Ministry Leadership and the Federal University of Technology Owerri. 

Dr Osuji is currently completing doctoral research in Public Health (Health Promotion). Having been a university lecturer for some years, Dr Sam has expertise in public health Optometry, including designing models and policy frameworks in Health promotion and Adaptive Leadership. He has published in several journals, with his latest book on clinical research, titled “Effect of Xylocaine on Tear Production”, published by Lambert Academic Publishing in Germany and is sold online. He is a board member of some organisations and professional bodies, Core Group Lead for Board and Strategic Leadership (BSL), a Lausanne YLGen Interest Group. Dr Sam is happily married to Favour, and they have great children.
